THE PRODUCT
Living with a gut condition turns a quick shop into detective work: reading every ingredient list and second-guessing every label.
Munchable reads the label for you. It covers seven conditions, including reflux, IBS on a low-FODMAP diet, lactose intolerance and IBD, and gives one answer across all the ones you manage, showing conflicts instead of hiding them.

Good fit, Caution or Avoid for each condition you manage, with the reasons behind it.
Photograph the label
If a product isn't on file, AI reads a photo of the label and adds it for everyone. If it can't read it, it says so.
Menu mode
Eating out? Draw a box around a dish on the menu to check it.
Recipes that fit
Recipes filtered to your conditions, right on the device.
Allergy warnings
Allergens flagged, including 'contains' and 'may contain' lines.
Healthier shopping
A filter for additives and nutrients, plus product search and scan history.

Health data stays on the phone
Verdicts are computed on the device. The server only ever sees a barcode, never which conditions someone has.

AI proposes, rules decide
Language models turn labels into strict structured data, and a pure TypeScript rules engine makes the call. It works offline and fails closed: missing data means 'can't assess', never a green light.

A product database it owns
The catalogue grows with its community. Label photos are never stored, and signed scan receipts stop fraudulent contributions.
